Job Description
Capgemini is seeking a skilled Teradata DBA. The primary responsibilities include handling DBA tasks such as configuration and DDL operations, incident management, and monitoring non-automated access requests. Candidates should possess strong skills in Teradata DBA (70%), SQL (20%), and scripting/Python (10%). Secondary skills in Datastage, Gitlab/Github, and Agile methodologies are beneficial. Additional responsibilities involve workload tuning (TASM), SQL optimization, and modernization initiatives from VantageCloud Enterprise to VantageCloud Lake. The role requires leading 24/7 on-call support and working 5 days from the ODC.
