Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor with a strong eye for color grading, rhythm-based edits, and clean transitions. You should be confident in choosing matching music, syncing edits perfectly to the beat, and enhancing visuals with tasteful effects—without making the video feel over-edited. You’ll work on short-form and long-form content that feels modern, crisp, and professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos (Reels/Shorts) and long-form videos as required.
- Perform professional color correction + color grading to match brand tone and consistency.
- Select music that fits the mood/story, and sync cuts, transitions, and motion to the beat.
- Add smooth transitions, speed ramps, punch-ins, motion effects, and basic VFX where needed.
- Improve flow using sound design, whooshes, hits, ambience, and clean audio balancing
- Create engaging pacing: strong hooks, tight storytelling, and retention-driven editing
- Deliver multiple versions/formats (9:16 / 1:1 / 16:9) when needed
- Follow feedback quickly and maintain version control + organized project files
Requirements (Must-Have)
- 2+ years of hands-on editing experience
- Strong skills in color grading and maintaining a consistent visual style
- Excellent sense of timing, rhythm, and beat sync
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / DaVinci Resolve (any two preferred)
- Understanding of transitions, motion graphics basics, and effects (clean, modern style)
- Ability to work fast without compromising quality
- Strong attention to detail and file organization
Good to Have (Bonus)
- Experience editing for brands/ads, premium content, or high-retention reels
- Basic knowledge of typography-based edits, subtitles, and kinetic text
- Familiarity with YouTube workflows: chapters, thumbnails coordination, export presets
- Ability to create reusable templates/presets for faster production
