Job Description
We seek a detail-oriented Staff Nurse for the Operating Theatre to ensure safe, efficient perioperative care. Responsibilities include operating and verifying OT equipment (anesthesia machines, heart–lung machines, ventilators, C‑ARM), maintaining OT records, performing regular equipment audits, and ensuring continuous oxygen/suction supply and centralized piping functionality. Manage OT fumigation and documentation, maintain temperature/humidity and scavenging systems, verify anesthesia and breathing systems, and confirm instruments and medications are prepared. Assist in patient transfer, intraoperative positioning, surgeon support, handling C‑ARM, and monitoring patients pre- and post-operatively. Support the anesthesiologist with drug preparation, IV fluids, and blood transfusions.
