Job Description
Virtusa is seeking a skilled Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to spearhead our development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Ruby and a strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles. Expertise in Rails, including ActiveRecord, polymorphism, single table inheritance (STI), APIs, and the MVC architecture, is essential.
Your role will involve writing clean, modular code that adheres to DRY principles, designing scalable PostgreSQL databases, and implementing performance optimization techniques through caching strategies. Experience with Docker, AWS, and performance enhancement is an added advantage.
