Job Description
Retail Sales Executive:
Drive in-store sales by assisting customers, providing product info, handling transactions, managing displays, and meeting targets, acting as the key link between products and buyers for a positive shopping experience, with responsibilities ranging from entry-level store help to broader sales management.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers, understand needs, offer solutions, and build rapport to encourage repeat business.
- Sales Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets through effective selling, product knowledge, and implementing sales strategies.
- Store Operations: Arrange merchandise, maintain displays, keep the store tidy, and manage inventory.
- Transactions: Process sales, handle cash, and operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
- Product Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of products to advise customers effectively.
- Reporting: Record sales data and provide customer feedback to management.
Types of Roles
- In-Store Roles: Focus on direct customer interaction, often for specific materials, technique, etc. for Sarees, Indo Western Ethnic Women’s Wear.
- Hybrid Roles: Combine online and in-store duties, managing e-commerce sales and customer follow-ups.
