Job Description
Captain Role
Restaurant Captain will oversee front-of-house operations in the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, guest satisfaction, and team coordination in a fine-dining setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, manage reservations, and recommend menu items based on preferences.
- Supervise waitstaff, assign tables, and monitor service standards including grooming and hygiene.
- Handle orders, guest complaints, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and ensure timely food/beverage delivery.
- Maintain dining area cleanliness, conduct inventory checks, and close shifts with reports like POS summaries and breakages.
Required Qualifications
Candidates typically need 2-3 years of experience in food service, knowledge of menu standards, and skills in order taking, hygiene, and customer handling.
