A Mother Teacher in a Bangalore CBSE school (Pre-primary/Grade 1-2) acts as the primary educator and caregiver, fostering holistic development in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include implementing CBSE/play-based curricula, ensuring safety, managing classroom discipline, assessing student progress, and maintaining active parent communication. Key requirements are a B.Ed/NTT/D.El.Ed, 1-3+ years of experience, excellent English, and a passion for teaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic & Child Development: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for core subjects (English, Math, EVS, Hindi/Kannada) aligned with CBSE standards.
- Nurturing Environment: Create a safe, warm, and inclusive atmosphere, acting as a primary caregiver for young learners.
- Assessment & Monitoring: Observe, record, and assess individual student progress, providing regular feedback to parents through meetings and reports.
- Classroom Management: Maintain discipline with patience and care, encouraging positive behavior.
- Collaboration: Work with co-teachers and staff for extracurricular activities and school events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc.) + Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), NTT (Nursery Teacher Training), or D.El.Ed.
- Experience: Minimum 1–3 years in pre-primary or primary teaching.
- Skills: Exceptional communication skills in English, creativity, patience, empathy, and ability to handle young children.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office for reporting and planning.
