Job Description
Cognizant is seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with 8-12 years of expertise in Oracle DBA functions. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in Oracle Standalone DB, PLUGGABLE database CDB, PDB & RAC (11g, 12c, 19c), and GoldenGate (11g, 12c, 19c).
Key responsibilities include:
- Database installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and administration.
- Schema/security management, DB object handling, and performance tuning.
- Linux/Unix scripting and experience with backup and restore utilities.
- Collaborating effectively within a team to deliver projects on time.
