We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medical Technician to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nuclear medicine procedures, physiology, and medical imaging techniques. Duties

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures such as DEXA scans for bone density assessment and PET scans for metabolic imaging, ensuring precise execution.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals following strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
• Operate sophisticated imaging equipment while maintaining optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
• Assist physicians in interpreting diagnostic images by providing technical support and relevant physiological data.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures by explaining processes clearly and adhering to infection control standards.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, radiopharmaceutical usage, and equipment maintenance in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Experience

• Proven experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures, including DEXA scans, PET scans, and other diagnostic imaging techniques.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to nuclear medicine diagnostics.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques, radiation safety protocols, and medical imaging equipment operation.
• Experience with diagnostic evaluation processes, interpreting physiological data in conjunction with imaging results.
• Prior exposure to working with nuclear medicine technology within a clinical or hospital setting is highly desirable.
