Summary

As Network Security Engineer, you are responsible and play a critical role in designing, implementing and managing network data and firewalls by resolving user requirements, issues and automated alerts, following strict change control and keeping rigor in operations.

Core responsibilities

• Understanding on Internet, Firewall security concept, Remote access and SDWAN.

• Support Firewall related changes in Azure Firewall & changes needed in SD-WAN Network as per customer requirement including deep troubleshooting as and when needed.

• Hands-on experience in Palo Alto, FortiGate & Meraki Firewalls. Additionally experience in Cisco switches & routers, Cisco Meraki, Wireless technologies are added advantage.

• Produce detailed design documents and guide the implementation of changes

• Troubleshooting multi-level global routing and firewall issues in and out of SDWAN cloud.

• Design the integration touch points of Internet and Private Access (IdP, firewalls, SD-WAN, EUC, SIEM, Log, Server Teams) and coordinate with respective groups

• Deploy and manage ZTNA platforms to secure access to private apps

• Should be able to demonstrate clear understanding on Routing and Switches

• Willingness to learn and support Wireless networking issues

• Must work on Operations, Service Requests, and all other ITIL work areas

• Grant users access only to necessary applications, not the entire network

• Define and enforce granular, context-aware policies (user, location, time, device).

• Create and implement test plans (including functionality, integrity, stress testing and definition of test methodologies and strategy)

• Involve in troubleshooting and complex problem resolutions

• Troubleshooting GRE/IPSec tunnels related to users
