Job Description
Raychem RPG is seeking a Mechanical Design Officer with a B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering and 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Transformer Design. The ideal candidate should have expertise in designing Dry and Oil-filled transformers up to 20MVA / 33kV and 50MVA / 132kV, along with knowledge of Oil-filled, VPI, and CRT technology. Responsibilities include understanding customer specifications, preparing electrical designs, and providing support to the Sales team. Familiarity with national and international standards, testing, and knowledge of special transformers is preferred. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach for interdepartmental discussions are essential.
