Job Description
The Technical Assistant will support the engineering and production teams in the design, development, and manufacturing of custom transformers and inductors. This role involves hands-on technical support, quality testing, and documentation to ensure products meet the strict standards (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and UL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype & Sample Development: Assist in the winding, assembly, and fabrication of prototype samples for Transformers (Linear, SMPS, Flyback) and Inductors (Common Mode Chokes, High Current Inductors) as per customer specifications.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform electrical testing on components using precision instruments (e.g., LCR Meters, High Voltage Testers). Measure parameters like Inductance, Resistance, Leakage Inductance, and Turns Ratio.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of test results, design specifications, and production logs. Assist in preparing documentation for ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 compliance audits.
- Production Support: Coordinate with the manufacturing floor to troubleshoot minor technical issues during the winding and assembly processes.
- Compliance: Ensure all materials and processes adhere to environmental standards, including RoHS and REACH compliance, as part of commitment to sustainability.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and calibration verification of testing and manufacturing equipment.
Required Skills
- Technical Knowledge:
o Basic understanding of magnetic components (Transformers, Coils, Inductors).
o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit schematics.
o Familiarity with soldering techniques and electronic assembly.
- Tools: proficiency in using testing and measuring instruments (Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, LCR Meters).
- Soft Skills: Good attention to detail, ability to document data accurately, and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or Electrical & Electronics (EE) Engineering.
EXPERIENCE: 0-3 YRS
