Job Description
We are seeking a full-time, permanent on-site Lactation Consultant to provide hands-on breastfeeding support and counseling for mothers, addressing sore nipples, low supply, and latch issues. Duties include teaching breastfeeding techniques, advising on expression and storage, counseling on nutrition, assessing feeding practices, documenting care, promoting BFHI guidelines, providing telehealth follow-ups, collaborating with physicians and midwives, and training staff.
- Requirements: BSc Nursing with lactation certification (BPNI or IBCLC preferred), experience in maternal/child health, strong communication and empathy, and basic computer skills.
- Compensation: ₹25,00–₹35,00/month; benefits include health insurance and provident fund.
