Job Description
NU Hospitals is eager to welcome a skilled Laboratory Technician to our innovative team. This position, reporting directly to the Lab in charge, requires a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) and 1-3 years of relevant experience.
As a Laboratory Technician, you will:
- Develop procedures for collecting and analyzing biological specimens.
- Ensure specimen integrity for reliable results.
- Conduct analytical tests on various bodily fluids and substances.
- Identify discrepancies in laboratory data.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with nursing and administrative staff regarding samples and reports.
- Communicate critical results to clinicians and ensure accurate documentation.
