Job Description
We seek a professional instructor to teach keyboard technique, music theory, improvisation, and contemporary styles, and to develop students’ music production skills using DAWs (Ableton, Logic, FL Studio). Responsibilities include instruction in MIDI, synthesis, sampling, basic recording and mixing, preparing lesson plans, assessing progress, and leading group workshops and performance coaching.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong keyboard proficiency and practical studio experience
- Familiarity with MIDI controllers, VSTs, and common production workflows
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience and a patient, professional communication style
- Ability to adapt lessons for all ages and levels; evening or weekend availability preferred
