Job Description
Trainee Associate/Intern will be responsible for testing software applications to ensure high quality, performance, and reliability before release.
Responsibilities:
- Learn basic software testing concepts, tools, and processes through training and hands-on guidance from the team
- Understand application features and workflows with the support and direction of senior team members
- Execute test cases provided by the QA team to verify application functionality
- Identify issues or unexpected behaviour during testing and report them clearly with proper details
- Support senior QA members during various testing activities as part of the project team
- Re-check reported issues after fixes are applied to ensure they are properly resolved
- Maintain simple test records and assist in preparing basic testing reports as required
Must Have:
- Basic understanding or academic exposure to basic concepts
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in team settings
- Should demonstrate a positive attitude and readiness to work as part of a team
- Familiarity with SQL for basic data queries and report building
- Should be attentive to details and able to identify inconsistencies or errors
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology
- Participation in college tech clubs, hackathons, or projects involving enterprise applications
- Should have a strong willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and processes
