Job Description
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd is looking for a qualified Heat Treatment Manager to lead and optimize our heat treatment operations in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of furnace operations, emergency protocols, and various heat treatment techniques. A Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy is required, along with 4-8 years of relevant experience.
Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting metallurgical failure analyses, and optimizing capacity utilization while minimizing downtime. Candidates must be familiar with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Continual Quality Improvement (CQI) 9, and international standards. A comprehensive understanding of transmission and axle gears is also essential.
