Job Description
The Clinical Systems Administrator will manage, configure, and support clinical applications (EHR, RIS, PACS), ensuring system availability, applying patches, monitoring performance, and administering backups. The role oversees integrations (HL7, FHIR), provides tier‑2 support and training to clinicians, coordinates with vendors, and enforces security and regulatory compliance (HIPAA/GDPR).
- Requirements: Bachelor’s in IT or Healthcare, 3+ years managing clinical systems, proficiency in SQL, scripting, networking, and familiarity with healthcare standards.
- Attributes: strong communication, analytical problem‑solving, and on‑call availability.
- Preferred: vendor certifications or ITIL certification.
