Job Description
We are seeking a Continental Chef Commis 1 to support our kitchen in preparing European-style cuisine. The successful candidate will assist senior chefs with ingredient preparation, basic cooking, portioning, plating, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Qualifications: culinary diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in continental kitchens.
- Skills: strong knife skills, knowledge of food safety and sanitation, effective teamwork, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours.
- Responsibilities: prepare ingredients, set up and maintain stations, rotate stock, follow recipes precisely, and adhere to sanitation procedures to ensure consistent quality.
