Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Company Secretary (CS) to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements within our organization. The CS will play a vital role in governance, legal compliance, and administrative support for the board of directors and senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, FEMA, and all applicable laws.
- Organize and prepare agendas and materials for board meetings, committees, and AGMs.
- Draft minutes of meetings, resolutions, and legal documents.
- Maintain statutory registers and manage filing processes with the MCA.
- Liaise with regulators and advisory bodies including ROC, SEBI, and legal consultants.
- Monitor legislative changes and provide management with timely advice.
- Handle corporate governance matters and support legal and finance teams.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Company Secretary with an LLB or a related legal qualification.
- 2-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws and excellent communication skills.
