Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Boring Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain horizontal and vertical boring machines to produce accurate bores and finished surfaces. The role requires reading blueprints, monitoring tooling, inspecting parts for dimensional accuracy, and adjusting machine settings as needed.
- Operate and maintain boring equipment; perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools; record production data.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards; report defects and deviations.
- Prior machining experience, mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and teamwork required. Shift flexibility preferred.
