Job Description
Role Overview
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across projects. This role ensures compliance with BIM standards, facilitates collaboration between disciplines, and supports the delivery of accurate, coordinated models and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models using Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant tools.
· Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues across disciplines.
· Implement and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and company BIM standards.
· Ensure all models and data comply with project requirements and industry standards.
· Liaise with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth BIM workflows.
· Facilitate coordination meetings and provide technical guidance.
· Mentor junior BIM staff and provide project-specific training.
· Troubleshoot technical issues and support BIM software applications.
· Manage Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure accurate information exchange.
· Conduct quality checks on models and documentation.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
· Minimum 5–7 years of experience in BIM coordination on medium to large-scale projects.
· Strong understanding of BIM standards (ISO 19650) and workflows.
Skills & Competencies
· Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM collaboration tools.
· Knowledge of clash detection and model validation processes.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
· Strong problem-solving.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹800,00.00 – ₹1,500,00.00 per year
