Job Description
ACCA Mentor Duties and Responsibilities
An ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) mentor guides and supports students pursuing the ACCA qualification.
Key Responsibilities1. Guidance and Support: Provide guidance on ACCA syllabus, exams, and career paths.
2. Study Planning: Help students plan their study schedule and manage time effectively.
3. Technical Support: Offer technical support and clarification on ACCA subjects.
4. Mock Exams and Feedback: Conduct mock exams and provide feedback on performance.
5. Career Advice: Offer career advice and insights into the accounting profession.
6. Motivation and Encouragement: Motivate and encourage students to stay on track with their studies.
7. Progress Monitoring: Monitor students’ progress and identify areas for improvement.
Skills Required1. ACCA Qualification: Preferably an ACCA qualification or equivalent.
2. Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching or mentoring students.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Subject Knowledge: Strong knowledge of ACCA syllabus and subjects.
5. Patience and Empathy: Ability to support students with varying learning styles.
