Job Description
Position: Academic Advisor
We are looking for a student-focused Academic Advisor to support prospective learners throughout their admission journey. The role involves counseling students, converting leads into enrollments, maintaining consistent follow-ups, and achieving monthly targets while delivering a positive and supportive experience. Submission of a short self-introduction video is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and recommend academic programs aligned with their interests and career goals
- Convert inquiries into enrollments by clearly explaining program details, benefits, and admission processes
- Achieve monthly counseling and enrollment targets
- Communicate with students via phone calls, WhatsApp, email, webinars, and virtual counseling sessions
- Conduct timely and effective follow-ups to improve conversion rates
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress in the CRM system
- Coordinate with marketing, academic, and operations teams to ensure a smooth admissions process
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling, admissions, or sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to understand student needs and provide personalized guidance
- Goal-oriented, well-organized, and proactive in follow-up management
- Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms
- Mandatory: Submission of a short self-introduction video
Preferred Skills
- Strong rapport-building skills with students and parents
- Persuasive communication and presentation abilities
- Prior experience in EdTech, educational institutions, or training centers is an added advantage
