Purpose of Role

To plan, prepare, and deliver effective Mathematics instruction for Secondary School students (Classes VI–X) in accordance with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and academic excellence.

CSA TGT Math

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to Classes VI–X as per CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids aligned with learning outcomes.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly using examples, activities, and real-life applications.
• Assess, evaluate, and record student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Provide remedial support and enrichment activities based on student learning needs.
• Maintain discipline and create a positive, learner-friendly classroom environment.
• Integrate ICT tools and innovative teaching methodologies where appropriate.
• Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and academic reviews.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress and academic concerns.
• Support school events, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintain academic records, lesson plans, and assessment documentation.
• Follow CBSE norms, examination guidelines, and school policies.
• Perform additional academic or administrative duties assigned by school management.
