Job Description

Location: Kanakapura Main Road, Bangalore

Job Summary:

The Architect – Coordination & Drawings, working under the General Manager’s office, is responsible for managing architectural coordination, design documentation, and drawing control across construction projects. The role ensures alignment between design intent, project requirements, and site execution by coordinating with consultants, engineers, project teams, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design Coordination

 Coordinate architectural designs with architecture department, structural, MEP, and other

engineering disciplines.

 Review consultant drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and

regulations.

 Resolve design conflicts and discrepancies through coordination meetings.

 Act as the architectural focal point between the GM’s office, consultants, and project teams.

Drawings & Documentation

 Prepare, review, and manage architectural drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.

 Ensure timely submission, approval, and distribution of drawings.

 Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control records.

 Support preparation of design-related reports and presentations for management.

Site & Project Support

 Coordinate with site teams to clarify drawings, details, and design intent.

 Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination workshops as required.

 Assist in addressing site queries (RFIs) related to architectural works.

Quality & Compliance

 Ensure architectural works comply with approved drawings, building codes, and client

requirements.

 Support quality control and audit processes related to architectural scope.

 Assist in ensuring design compliance with authority approvals and statutory regulations.

Management & Reporting Support

 Provide regular updates to the General Manager on design coordination status and risks.

 Assist the GM’s office in monitoring design progress and deliverables across projects.

 Support cross-functional coordination between Projects, Planning, Contracts, and HSE

departments.

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

 5 years of experience in architectural coordination and construction drawings.

 Strong knowledge of construction detailing and coordination processes.

 Proficiency in AutoCAD and architectural documentation standards.
