Job Description
We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant (Documentation and Sampling) to collect, label, and prepare samples for analysis while maintaining accurate documentation and chain-of-custody records. The role requires strict adherence to sampling protocols, SOPs, and safety and quality procedures, assistance with basic laboratory tests and equipment maintenance, and support for inventory management.
- Collect and label samples; follow sampling protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Prepare samples for analysis and assist with routine tests and equipment upkeep
- Maintain meticulous paper and electronic records
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and inventory procedures
Qualifications: Diploma or certificate in laboratory technology or a related field, strong attention to detail, good record-keeping and computer skills, ability to follow instructions and lift moderate weights. Prior sampling experience, punctuality, and teamwork are required.
