Job Description
Unique Solution seeks a skilled Gas Cutter to perform oxy-fuel cutting of steel plates, pipes, and ship structures in accordance with engineering drawings. The successful candidate will accurately mark cutting lines; operate cutting torches, nozzles, and regulators; and prepare and position materials for safe, precise cuts.
- Remove damaged metal and verify cut quality against drawings
- Maintain tools, consumables, and correct gas pressures and flame settings
- Assist welders and fitters and report gas leaks or equipment faults
- Adhere strictly to shipyard safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements
Applicants must demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and familiarity with oxy-fuel cutting practices.
