Job Description
The Special Education Placement Coordinator will manage student placements, coordinate with families and schools, and ensure compliance with special education regulations. This position assesses student needs and oversees placement decisions for IEPs and 504 plans.
- Responsibilities: administer IEP and 504 placements, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, schedule and monitor assessments, maintain accurate placement records, and monitor student progress.
- Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field, experience with IEP processes, excellent communication and organizational skills, and working knowledge of disability law.
