Job Description

Harsha Institute of Management Studies seeks a full-time/part-time, in-person Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and postgraduate Malayalam language and literature.

• Responsibilities: deliver lectures, design syllabi, assess and mentor students, engage in research and publications, contribute to curriculum and cultural activities, maintain academic records, and uphold institutional policies.
• Qualifications: Master’s in Malayalam (minimum 55%). Ph.D. or Ph.D. enrollment preferred. Must meet UGC/university eligibility. Prior college teaching or research experience preferred.
• Skills: excellent command of Malayalam, strong communication, modern pedagogical methods, and research aptitude.
• Compensation: ₹25,00–₹35,00 per month. Reports to Head of Department/Principal. Location: Harsha Institute of Management Studies.
