Job Description
Location: Candidates are welcome to work from either our Mumbai or Noida office.
Department: Digital & AI / Renewable Energy – TEAM
Job Summary: Avaada is in search of a skilled Meteorologist with a strong background in weather modeling and AI/ML to improve generation forecasting, scheduling, and power trading for our renewable energy assets, including wind and solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop sophisticated weather-driven models for enhanced forecasting accuracy.
- Integrate Numerical Weather Prediction (NWP) and real-time data into AI/ML predictive tools.
- Deliver valuable weather risk insights to support our trading and scheduling teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science; familiarity with AI/ML is preferred.
- Experience with forecasting models (e.g., WRF, GFS) and proficiency in Python or R.
