Job Description
Join our Advanced Controls team as an intern and contribute to the development of a lightweight, scalable historian system for Linux, focused on storing and analyzing time-series data from field devices. You will play a key role in implementing a historian service that ingests high-frequency data via MQTT and stores it in TimescaleDB. Your responsibilities will include testing the service, creating presentations to communicate your progress, and actively participating in talent events.
To be considered for this position, you must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science or a related STEM field, with strong knowledge of Java or Python and relational databases. Outstanding organizational and communication skills are required.
